Whitewater Mesa Labyrinths Store:

We are very proud to present our latest video offering.  In keeping with our previous production, it further explores the relations between horses and humans with the added focus of how Equine Assisted Therapy is used to improve the lives of people with various disabilities  - and again in the context of labyrinths and meanders.

The Troy Ride - A Labyrinth for Horses

This short film was created for the workshop on
Equestrian Labyrinths
- New and Old Uses and Designs
at
the 2010 Gathering of the Labyrinth Society in New Harmony, Indiana. As we worked on the film we still marveled at the accomplishments of The Posey County Saddle Club riders as they rode their horses in the Troy Ride Labyrinth. We are pleased to document this once in a life time event.

A link to the film is posted here so please do visit again or proceed with placing an order. We are sure you'll be pleased. Our team includes...

DVD: Horses & Humans in the Labyrinth

DVDs of the movie Horses & Humans in the Labyrinth shown at The Labyrinth Society's annual Gathering are now available.

Horses & Humans in the Labyrinth was filmed on location at Whitewater Mesa Labyrinths, Glenwood, NM. Cordelia Rose and Polly Tipton ride in Syzygy labyrinth to school their horses for trail riding in the Gila Wilderness. Cordelia leads a maypole dance in a classic labyrinth. Ben Nicholson creates an ephemeral labyrinth by leading people shuffling their feet in raked earth. David Blonksi plays didgeridoo and flute to accompany the walks and dances in the four labyrinths.
